Our Anchor Chain Is Very Healthy-The Surface Coating Water Based Paint Is Very Environmentally Friendly

We are a company with a strong environmental spirit. We make our earth healthier through every measure that can be improved. We applied for environmental management system certification very early. After data review and on-site audit, we passed the ISO 14001 environmental management system.

We continuously improve the environmental management level of the organization, regularly organize personnel to participate in learning and training, improve environmental performance assessment, and everyone takes action to contribute to environmental protection, promote enterprises to save energy and reduce consumption, thereby reducing corporate costs. Our company has installed a rooftop solar power generation project.

We reduce the emission of pollutants. All waste must be treated environmentally, and the emission of untreated pollutants is prohibited to achieve the company's environmental responsibility.

In this article, in the treatment of the anchor chain surface paint, we have also changed from the previous solute asphalt paint to the current water-based paint, which shows our company's determination to do a good job in environmental protection.

There are usually two types of anchor chain surface treatment: 

black tar (solvent-based asphalt paint) and hot-dip galvanizing. At present, due to cost reasons, most anchor chain manufacturers use black tar as the surface coating. But modern water-based paint is very environmentally friendly in comparison. Its

1. Every ton of water-based paint used can reduce about 300 kg of volatile organic compound emissions, which is equivalent to the air purification capacity of 60 acres of forest in one year.

2. The volatile organic compound emissions of solvent-based paints will seriously affect haze and ozone pollution; while water-based paints can reduce their emissions by 75-90%.

3. Solvent-based waste contains heavy metal pollution, while water-based waste is low in toxicity and biodegradable. 

What changes have taken place in our factory after using water-based paint?

1. After using water-based paint on the surface of the anchor chain, the toxin emissions in the workshop were reduced by more than 90%, which is a milestone for our company to move towards healthy development and safe production. Our workshop director told us that after using water-based paint, the real-time PM2.5 monitoring of our workshop No. 3 meets the national standards for ensuring air quality. And water-based paint is certified by SGS, non-toxic and harmless, and safe for mothers and babies to contact.

2. After using water-based paint, the operating experience of our front-line employees has been comprehensively improved, providing a good working environment for front-line workers, and reflecting the humanistic care of our company. It is an environmentally friendly and gentle formula that reduces skin irritation and dependence on personal protective equipment.

3. After using water-based paint, because it has very little odor and is not unpleasant, even without strong ventilation, the normal factory environment can meet environmental protection requirements, which greatly saves the budget and time required for ventilation of our factory. Water-based paint is highly safe and non-flammable, which can reduce fire hazards and the complexity of safety management, and reduce the accident rate of the factory.

4. The raw material cost of water-based paint is higher than that of asphalt paint, but because it does not require high-temperature solvent evaporation and can be used directly, it reduces the heating link, reduces energy consumption by 30%, and reduces the operating cost of the factory. At the same time, it has a short drying time, which greatly improves production efficiency.

With the increasingly stringent global environmental regulations, the EU solvent ban and China's "solvent to water" policy, water-based paint has become the industry standard for heavy manufacturing.
