Mooring Buoy Shackle Type A

There are two types of mooring buoy shackles: Type A and Type B. Type A buoy shackles have two legs on the body connected by a strut. This shackle is connected to the common link of the anchor chain via a Kent-type connecting shackle. These shackles are usually made of steel forging and come in different sizes to suit different chain diameters.
